PLATUNA PT – Platinum coating in new dimensions up to 50 µm, specifically for medical and sensor technology

Platinum coatings are resistant to corrosion, temperature, and deformation; they are biocompatible and inert, and possess excellent electrical conductivity. The coating produced using the new PLATUNA PT electrolyte consists of 99.9% platinum and now offers entirely new possibilities with layer thicknesses of up to 50 µm, a hardness of approximately 350 HV, and a crack-resistant surface. The new PLATUNA PT electrolyte is therefore particularly well-suited for technical applications in the medical and sensor technology sectors.
